Presentation Description: The panel will discuss J-1 English proficiency policies that improve exchange visitor wellbeing and foster sustainable programs as well as the changes they have implemented to navigate legalities, risk, and ethical challenges. Data-driven portions of the presentation will be sharing results of industry-wide surveys of host institutions and thousands of responses from exchange visitors.
